Headset static

Discus and support Headset static in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I picked up the headset adapter and updated my controllers.     Headset static


    I picked up the headset adapter and updated my controllers. After doing so I noticed horrible static from the game audio through my solar A30 headset. Is this a bug from the march update? And if so does anyone know of a way to fix it?

    Elite controller and static

    I bought an Elite controller and since I using it I have experienced static when using my Turtle Beach XO headset. I contacted Turtle Beach and they were unable to find anything wrong with my headset. When plugging in the headset directly to the Elite
    controller I get no static. When I plug in my XO headset and module into my old controller I don't have static. But if I connect my XO headset and module into my Elite controller I get static. Any suggestions?

    Headset static buzz

    In some cases when your control is being charged via the "Play & Charge Kit" the controller can emit a buzzing sound. Try taking the Play & Charge Kit out of the control to see if the buzzing stops.

    I have the same problem, waiting for MS to get this fixed (they have said in an update that they are working on it which is promising however)

    Same issue here.

    Using it with the Applea Earpod and I have the same issue since the first day... static noise all the time.

    I do not have this with any other device, just with the Stereo headset contreller of the XboxOne.

    Same issue here.

    Hi

    If you have not already done so please try and carry out an update to the controller firmware as guided below to see if this helps with your problem please note as you have a slightly older controller you may need to carry out the update via a USB cable.

    Thanks for the reply. I actually posted this in the 360 forum though :p This is for the Xbox 360 controller (the one I'm using is only a couple months old, bought brand new), with my headset that came with my Xbox 360 a few years ago. I'm on a metered
    bandwidth connection and can't get a next gen console because of all the internet requirements for the new systems :(
