Headset probles ith 500HX Xbox One headset

Hi. I recently bought a 500HX Xbox One headset and it keeps glitching. Sometimes the mic goes blank and even the audio in the headphones will go out. Should I get a headset adapter? Please recommend suggested actions. Thank you

XBox One X doesn't recognize any headsets

My son got an Xbox One X in November and it has never recognized a headset. We have tried different headsets, all compatible and it has the same issue. These same headsets work fine on his Xbox One at his dad's house so the problem isn't the headset. Any
ideas?

It's my understanding that as part of the
preview program you will want to post to the insider forums . Additionally, submitting

feedback through the console will be the best way to make sure the team is aware that you are having an issue.

Also, it might be helpful to know when you say "...actual headsets designed to work with XB1", are you referring to the "Xbox One Stereo Headset" ? If so,
may I suggest you double check "Set up and troubleshoot your Xbox One Stereo Headset" .

Does the same issue happen with any headset you use on the console? If you try to use the headset with another controller do you see the same problem?

I can understand your frustration with all the bad luck you have been having. And, for the record, I am not part of the Microsoft staff nor an Xbox customer support employee. But, I can say that we have 2 Xbox Ones and 1 Xbox One S, and 2 of the

Xbox One Stereo Headsets. And, both headsets work well, with and without the
Stereo Headset Adapters, on all our Xboxes.

I am also having the same issue. For about a month now. I have a tried two headsets on two different controllers and I can hear everyone, but my mic does not working. I bought a new controller with the 3.5mm jack and the issue persists with a different
headset. Also, my network is fine since I am able to have everything work through the kinect. However, I want to use my headsets.

I have hard rebooted network equipment and the console several times, logged out and in. Played ith numerous settings and nothing will work.

Please help.

Actually the OP is the one suggesting he wear his XBox One headset at the same time as wearing his Polk headset.

I'm the one suggesting he use his standard headset until they update the XBox ONE to work with the older expensive headsets or until they release new expensive headsets for the ONE.
