Headset port not working

    Headset port not working


    I bought an Xbox one controller from eBay in August and now the headset port is not working. We emailed the seller on the 10th November, no reply. Emailed again on 24th November and they replied stating that eBay's 30 day warranty had ended. Please are
    you able to help in this matter? Thanks

    head set not being XBOX are no longer working

    If the headset isnt working it could mean your port is damaged or the jack is not correct as i have used countless headsets in replacement to a xbox headset. One of which is the inked headset brand. I would reccomend checking the jack to the headset for
    damage and then the port on the controller.

    BOught a stereo headset as well as a new controller. wouldn't you know- the old headset works fine with the new controller and the new headset doesn't work with old controller.

    Problem- DEAD controller headset port.

    It only works on the USB port, the P2 port does not recognize?
    It recognizes the headset, but I've just had to unplug and plug back in the usb into the Xbox for it to assign the headset again.

    Their is no mute button, either the two headsets don't work or the port where the mic plugs into on the controller doesn't work anymore, you can either try the headsets with another controller or buy a new headset.
