    Headset popping sounds when using app's


    When I play games or just browse on the home menu everything sounds fine, but when I open apps such as spotify or YouTube there's a popping noise any help would be appreciated!!

    When you plug the headset in does it give you a little menu on pop out window to control the volume of chat and game? If so the sound bar is disconnecting because it is trying to use the headset instead.

    yes! i too have this problem. when using my polk 4 shot headset i get this anoyin cracking popping sound when playing any game titanfall,bf4, i got these headsets so i can play late without disturbing my family but i cant stand the popping and cracking anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Audio Crackling has made a return with the most recent update.

    I too have the crackling popping sound with my headset. I've tried everything under the sun to fix this issue. Its not the headset as they sound perfect through my phone and tablet. The home menu screen sounds incredibly fuzzy distortion sound when scrolling.
    I've been playing Destiny 2 and at times it's unbearable.

    You can try testing with a different controller to find out if it is the controller or the headset compatibility.

    You might also try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this as I have had it resolve some headset issues..

    Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
