Headset or Kinect microphone doesn't work

I can't use my Kinect microphone anymore, i used to speak with it, but doesn't work, so i bought a Headset from my friend to test and see if is my Kinect is broken or something but it doesn't work too, but when i'm watching in Netflix, the kinect command
voices works, but when I go to a Xbox Party it doens't work neither in private messages with voices

    Headset not working

Xbox one headset not working, i can hear but the microphone is not sending signal when fully connected to the controller. Only works when I have it half connected.

I just power cycled the xbox, updated controller + headset, usb connection, doesn't work, kinect works fine.

  3. 2 Controllers, 2 Headsets, One Console. Why does only 1 headset microphone work.

2 Controllers, 2 Headsets, One Console. Why does only 1 headset microphone work?

I would like to stream with my friend doing some multiplayer games on the same console but we can't both use our individual headsets to talk. Both mics work perfectly on their own on separate consoles. (Definitely not our headsets or controllers that are
    broken).

But on the same console, whether one is signed in and the other a guest, or both signed in, only 1 microphone works. (Usually whoever plugs their microphone in last is the person whose microphone works. (Doesn't matter who player 1 is or anything.)

For example, Player one will have a headset and it will work perfectly, player 2 plugs in his headset and that works perfectly but player 1 immediately loses speaking privileges.

Yes we can use a kinect but I find it always cuts out at the beginning of what I'm saying and doesn't pick me up that well, generally I need to be shouting. So would prefer to not use this option.

Are there any settings to allow all microphones to be used at the same time? I've looked but can't find any.

Is this a problem with mixer or the xbox?
