Headset not working, what am I doing wrong.

well actually the turtle beaches would be a stereo headset so in fact those should at least work and they havent either so ... something still doesnt work on the xbox one. I have done a little bit of looking and from the people I have talked to this is a
pretty common occurrence which is unfortunate because i was a huge xbox fan. and i am not looking for the game sound i am looking to be able to talk with people and send voice messages. you know chat sort of like how the headset is called a chat headset.

I hate to tell you this but the Xbox One console does not transmit game sounds or music through the Xbox One Chat Headset. If you're looking for an Xbox One headset that provides both game and chat audio, you should be
getting yourself an Xbox One Stereo Headset.

i want to thank all of you for giving some sage advice and not the usual ...."you suck" answers that run amuck on these forums .... but mostly a big thank you, to strunky for posing the question in such a manner that the obi-wons have given us their sage
advice ....

Oops I have a typo. The specialization is not called wheelman its called "Operator".

The only thing I can think of is a somewhat 'rookie' piece of advice. Try out different specializations and find the one that suits your playstyle the most. Other than that, it sounds like you should be doing fine if what you're saying about sticking with
team mates is true. In Halo it is very true that there is strength in numbers.
