    Headset not working properly


    Hi I'm having a issue with my headset. The headset won't pick up voices in part chat and also on YouTube I can hear game sound and music instrumental but doesn't pick up the voice of the person singing does anyone no how to fix this also the headset is

    So it was just the headsets I suppose. The regular headset doesn't work for me but the turtle beach headset works just fine. I'm not sure why it happened, but it's done for now at least.

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with being able to use your headset mic.

    Depending on the type of headset you are using, you might see the Audio
    option under System in the Xbox Guide.

    In this menu, you would see the option to turn on or off you Headset mic, however, this option would not appear if your headset has the capabilities to adjust this setting via an adapter that is usually attached to the cable of your
    headset.

    If your headset works across other device, then this would indicate that the issues is not with your headset, but with your controller. If you are able to test your headset on another Xbox One controller, then this would provide us
    with some additional insight as to what the problem would be.

    You mentioned that you have checked for updates, but if you haven't had a chance to

    check for updates for your controller    , it is something that I would recommend that you do.

    If possible, can you verify that your headset works on another Xbox One controller?
