    Headset not working on my xbox series x controller. Please help.


    I have an xbox series x with two controllers. The first I got with the console and the second I purchased a few weeks later.

    Audio was working for a time with a wired headset connected through my controller but a week ago that just stopped all of a sudden. I assumed the headset broke so I tried to use an older pair which also does not work. I then tried the second controller which had similar success as the first. I have now found out that if I connect the controller via USB then it will work and also will work wirelessly if I use my old xbox one controller.

    I'm not sure what I have done to cause it stop working with my newer controller. For reference all the headsets I have tried and all work with the one controller but not the series x are: 1) corsair hs60 pro surround 2) razor kraken wired gaming headset 3) a new razor kraken but not sure of name 4) turtle beach recon 70x

    Trying to get digital assistant to work but screen shows mic is turned off do I need a headset or is there one built in

    Unfortunately, there is no built-in mic on the Xbox Series X and no bluetooth support if you're thinking to go that route.



    You will need to attach a headset with a mic to the Xbox Series X controller. The Xbox Series X controller uses a standard 2.5mm audio connection for Xbox Live, you can use any standard headset. (It does not have to be something fancy or expensive.)

    Xbox Wireless Headset Distorted Sound

    Is there any solution to this until today? I‘ve got the same problem and got my razer kaira pro replaced, also checked with different controllers (x one s and x series x controller) and the problem still exists. The headsets packaging says „designed for xbox series x“ so I wouldn‘t expect these kind of problems. Any help is still appreciated.

    Controller suddenly stopped working. Lights up when plugged in, tried multiple cables. Does not show up under device manager.

    My controller stop working too series x , factory controller . Last night working and today my samsung tv remote control my xbox and the xbox controller no longuer view by the xbox , i use another controller from my other xbox seris s , and this controller work but not the one work last night , i try the little button to match xbox with but nothing , the controller do no longuer view on my xbox series x , can control de series s but can't be view or connect to the series x anymore
