Headset not working, i can hear people, but they cant hear me.

hey, i recently just sold my PS4 to buy an xbox one, i then felt like i needed a new mic to go with it, so i bought the tritton kunai xbox one editions. when i plug them in i can hear others talk and the game volume, but when i talk nothing. anyone got any
solutions or tips?

The headset works because I can hear game volume but not people talking. When I join party they cant hear me talk and I cant hear them.

Have you tried a cold reboot? (Hold Power Button for 15 sec. untill it full shutdown)

Try to Update your Controller with Headset plugged in. (Setting->System)

 

Got the same problem mate but its only one account that has the problem my other accounts are fine

 

Unplug your Xbox then plug it back in. It clears the cache or something. Works every time for me. Happens a bit to often tho

 

My Turtle beach px5 is now not working on my xbox one for some reason.. I think its because it have the early preview access and when i did the update for oct. it stop working.. I cant chat with my friend in party or game chat... Not even skype...

 

I'm having very similar problems with my xbox. I have a big ben headset. Whenever I speak with friends lately we always have problems with my friends not being able to hear me. I can hear everyone else perfectly fine though. Anyone got tips other than unplugging
the xbox?

 

Oh and I know that it's not my headset. I can send audio messages perfectly fine and the cable that I use from headset to controller is only a few months old (previous one was faulty) I've tried other tips like using different private chat channels and turning
off and on, checked all of my hardware to make sure it's all set properly and I see no reason why this shouldn't work.

 

I'm very upset I got the same ones the tritton kunai headset and i can hear game volume and peoples voices through them but I can talk someone please help.

My mic doesn't appear to be working on my Xbox One Stereo headset. Interesting are you by chance in the Xbox One preview program buckeye?
