Headset not working after update

Hey there, Phocks13! Sounds like the adapter you purchased is a 3rd party adapter, because we do not have an official adapter that lets you connect 360 headsets to your controllers. The update for the controllers isn't created for those, so it may be that
the update became corrupted because of this. That would mean that the only way to fix your controllers is to get them repaired/replaced. This thread is over a year old. If you get them replaced and you're still having the same issue without the adapter, please
post up a new thread detailing what you're running into and troubleshooting you've completed. This way our community can get you the individual support that works best on the forums.

I have spent the last 6 hours with 3 techs trying to figure this out. I have an issue almost like it. I had to update the controller because i bought the new adapter piece that lets you use your old 360 headsets. After the update the mic has stopped working
on all headsets, everything else works fine with the controller or microphones. My kinect mic works fine.....and they want me to pay to send my controllers in..... i have tested all three controllers on two different xboxes and nothing works now. All I
can think at this point is they need another firmware upgrade on the controllers!

The controller is wireless, the headset is wireless- bluetooth. The headset has worked fine for almost two years, but after the update yesterday to call of duty it does not work anymore.

Hey guys! I understand we're having issues connecting the wireless headset to the proper controller. To fix this, turn off/unplug all accessories, then turn on the headset. Sync this to player 1, and then turn on/connect your controller. They should both
