    headset not assigned to my account


    The headset does not assign to my account. how can i fix this problem? I have the astro gaming headset with a mixamp, so I just plug the mixamp into the xbox and the headset to the mixamp. I never had an issue with this before one day it won't assign even
    though i press assign to my account nothing happens.

    Check settings. Volume turned up on xBox and headset? Is headset being assigned to your account?

    Try connecting headset to controller first, and then powering on the controller. Ensure the controller is assigned to your profile

    no microphone on child account

    I found a workaround. By assigning going to the working child's account, then Setttings : System : Devices & accessories : Headset : and changing 'Assigned to' to the working child's account, the non-working child's account now works. Bizarre. But it fixes
    my problem.
