    Headset no longer working on Xbox One S Controller


    All of a sudden my turtlebeach headset has stopped working with both Xbox controllers. I have plugged other devices in to the 3.5mm jack and the same problem persists.

    Headset works with PC.

    Odd that the device still works on other devices and that it stopped working on two controllers at the same time.

    Have you checked if controllers need an update?

    To update your controller firmware:

    • Connect a controller to your Xbox One with a USB cable. Keep any headsets connected to the controller.
    • Connect to Xbox Live.
    • Press the Menu
    • Go to Settings > Devices & accessories. Select the controller.
      • If you have multiple controllers attached, you can select Buzz – which will cause the selected controller to vibrate.
    • Then select Update to download the new firmware to the controller attached via the USB cable, and the screen will show the Updating controller … progress screen
    • When you see the Controller updatedscreen, press ‘B’ to go back to the Devices & accessories main page

    Thanks for keeping us updated. How is the Headset not working exactly? Are you able to hear others? Can others hear you? Are you able to hear the in game audio/music?

    If you can hear the in-game audio fine, then the issue could be related to your network security. Go into your

    network settings     and check what your NAT type is. If it is anything other than "Open", then we can start troubleshooting your network.
