Headset Mic Issue (not related to the adapter)

This has happened quite a few times since I've had my xbox one, and happened again last night and is frustrating. There will be times where my headset will be plugged in, I can hear everyone in it, party chat is on, and my mic does not transmit my voice.
This happened against last night, was playing titanfall in a party with a friend, another friend joined and my mic would not work however I could hear them fine. I rebooted the console, went back in the party and still had the same issue. I have had weird
mic issues for a while, and wish they would stop as it is my only gripe!

    :)

Mic not working with Audio Adapter

    Hi Los Cassidy,

Sorry you're having issues with your Stereo Headset adapter and mic. Can you test your headset with another adapter to see if the adapter itself is faulty? It sounds like you have 2 controllers. Does the issue happen on both controllers? Also is there another
headset that you can test with? As your headset tested okay with another device, it very well could be a bad adapter. If another adapter works, then let us know as you said it could be software related as well.

  3. Controller Issues: Possible update or repair needed

A lot of people are having this issue. No idea if its firmware related or headset adapter related.

I've considered returning my headset to try a new headset adapter but I am not sure if it's worth it.

No word from Microsoft and this is really starting to get annoying.

  4. Headset Mic Issue (not related to the adapter)

This issue has happened to me before as well. It seems like the controller does not recognize that the headset/mic is plugged in. I have resolved this issue by unplugging the headset from the controller, and plugging it back in and pushing the mute/unmute
button. That has always resolved my issue and the mic begins working again.

  5. This has been happening over and over again for myself and many friends that I play with. It has actually gotten worse since the update. We start in party chat, and after about 5 minutes it tells us the Network limitations will not allow chat. We go into
regular lobby, and it becomes a crapshoot if we can hear each other, or some of us, or none. It is becoming annoying to the effect of not wanting to play anything right now. This happens with stock headsets and ones with adapters...

    Xbox One Headset Adapter Problems

I have a turtle beach px21 headset and purchased the xbox one headset adapter. The stereo sound is coming through really well, but the mic isn't working with it. Is this a known issue or is my headset mic not compatible with the xbox one?
