    Headset making a noise and I can’t find out why or hear it


    Today my headset was working fine and then it started making a buzzing sound according to my friends. I’ve tried resetting my Xbox, changing headsets, trying different controllers and nothing has seem to work.

    Headset issue?

    I have a turtle beach recon 50X headset wired for the Xbox one s. It’s worked fine no issue. All of a sudden it says that the mic can’t be detected and I previously used it that same day with no issue. I can’t hear sound, I can see people talking but can’t
    hear them and I can’t talk. I tested it out on another device I had and the headset worked fine

    Xbox One Weird Fan Noise

    I've had this same issue. It was lower a few months ago (the noise) then it went away over time, and with recent updates It's back with a vengeance. I'd hate to go without a X1 during the next two months so I'm just going to wait it out. Probably wait it
    out as long as possible considering I use a headset so I can't hear the noise at all with my headset on, but can hear it at low volume in the house without a headset.

    Thats why i tried 3 or 4 different Headsets only to find out that all are working fine, and even if your mates hear background noise, then you simply lower the mic volume.

    But why does that only work on a standart Microsoft Controller?

    I don't want to turn myself louder than others i simply don't want disturb my mates

    with too loud background noise.

    And if my Headsets are all working fine on Microsoft

    controllers i don't see why I would buy another Headset again!

    I'm so angry that I believed i got better

    (and more expensive) gear and now i got less than before.

    Xbox series x controller and headset

    Whenever I play a game the buttons sometimes don’t respond or don’t work at all. With the headset I have mic problems like when I talk for a few seconds no one can hear me but when I talk or make a noise for like 5 seconds they could hear me after I made the noise or say random things but they don’t hear what I was saying before I speak after I made the noises. I switched the controller and headset to my other Xbox which is a one x and everything works fine on there. Only the series x is where I have the problem with the headset and controller
