    Headset Lag


    My xbox mic has always lagged. I've used various Turtle Beach headsets over the years from 360 to One. I've always had the same issue.. My voice is lagged. I'll start speaking before someone else but end up interrupting them. It's a very painful 4 second
    delay.

    I've lived 3 different places all with different internet over the last 5 years with the same issue.

    Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

    Xbox Wireless Headset Audio Latency

    I do not own the Xbox wireless headset, but I had read review from rting.com that it has 200ms latency. While I do not have an explanation to why the lag, the lag is probably expected.

    I also notice there is some lag on controller 3.5 output. If you use monitor speaker and controller headphone at the same time, you will notice the lag, although very minimal.

    Sigma you said you are planning on selling your headset, but if you believe it to be a Microsoft problem and not a TB one, then surely no other headset will give you the surround sound without lag you are looking for? Or have you found one that accomplishes
    that?

    Is it the headset that was included with your console? Do you have a second controller that you can try connect with your headset to see if the problem still persists. If your playing GOW 3 without the headset connected, do you still get lagged out?
