Headset Issues: Cant talk through mic

Hello, today I am hear to address a problem that i'm am tired of. I got a headset for Christmas for 2014. I started to realize that it pick up my voice and that none of my friends could hear me. I'm not gonna use the kinect because I don't want everybody
to hear whats going on in the background. This problem started to happen about a month later. If anybody could help because I have done everything that Xbox support has told me to do.

Voice not being detected by chat headset but incoming voices loud and clear

Same here cant talk but can hear but ive tryed different headsets and controllers its not my mic ....

 

Xbox One mic stopped working randomly

while playing gta my mic stopped working. I can hear people through my Microsoft headset but cant talk I tried everything it said to do on the support page but nothing worked. Has anybody fixed or know a solution to this please tell me.

 

Have you tested the headset on another device to determine if the headset is working correctly? Does it do this all the time or does it happen just some of the time?

 

It does this all the time and how would I test it on another device

 

Do you have a friend that has an XBOX One that you could test it on?

 

I do but I wont be able to test it
