Headset Issues After Latest Xbox System Update

Since the most recent xbox system update I have been having connectivity issues with my Turtle Beach Stealth 420X headset. It will connect for about a minute, then emit a tone for a few seconds, and then audio in and out both go down.

    I have:

    1. Restarted the console.

    2. Removed power for 30 seconds and restarted.

    3. Tried different USB ports for the transmitter.

    4. Looked for updated firmware for the headset (it's already updated).

Anyone else having any problems with their headsets after the latest update?

    :)

Let's gather information in regards to Xbox One controllers losing signal

After a week of using the Xbox One I finally had my loss of connection today, and it wasn't even when I was playing a game. I was on the Dashboard and moving right to look at all the tiles in my Games and Apps Tile.

Can't believe this!! Has anyone actually had to update the controller also?

Can this be done by just connecting the controller with a headset connected or does it have to be forced?

EDIT: Just found the update manually option, so here we go I'm actually updating the controller once again to coincide with the 1404 firmware update the console received. I hadn't updated the controller thinking that it wasn't needed, but I'm giving anything a shot as this really is beginning to be a massive problem! Especially when in the middle of playing a game

    Fingers crossed with more testing

Anyone still having issues then please read this, didn't notice this before but Microsoft have added a paragraph at the bottom stating to update your controller again.

As of the April 2014 Xbox One System Update, the firmware update for the controller and stereo headset adaptor has been updated and includes significant improvements to audio quality with the Stereo Headset Adaptor and the process of updating controllers. If you have taken the update previously and are having issues with your stereo headset adaptor, please update your controller again with the latest Controller Update. You can update your controller by going to Settings, System and then Controller update.

Found here at bottom: Update Xbox One Controller to Use Stereo Headset Adaptor

Problems with microphone on Xbox One

Did you try your controller and working headset on your son's console?

Are both Xbox operating system OS up to date with the latest version?

A Headset Adapter may solve this issue or the headset/mic is faulty and needs replacing.

    Headset Adapter Problems

My headset is permanently stuck on mute. No matter what I do it will not unmute. Ive powered off the controller, pulled the adapter in and out, restarted the system...nothing fixes it. This all happened after the latest system update.
