Headset issue

Hey guys I have the advanced warfare turtle beach headset. Now I can hear the game sound through it and it says I'm talking but I can't hear anyone else online. It says they're talking as well and I'm assuming they can hear me but I cannot hear them. My
controller diEd on me last night so I just plugged it in let it charge and assumed it would work again...nope. Nothing is muted and nothing is turned down. I can hear myself if the mic is close enough and when I unplug the headset I can hear everyone talking
through my television but not when my headset is plugged in. I've also already hard reset the xbox and unplugged everything and put it back together on the controller and it is still not working

Headset Issues

I'm having issues with talking on Xbox live. One day I was able to talk with my headset and the next I can't. I have tried different headsets and mic adapter, tried Xbox support and still nothing. My NAT has always been moderate and could talk with no issues. I can hear people but they can't hear me. I was told they hear only echoes on their end. I can't figure out how to forward my ports and seems like my internet provider can't either. I have no idea what to do and it is pretty frustrating. This is a brand new controller of less that year. The icon shows I have a headset in when plugged and shows when its unplugged. Does anyone have any suggestions or can help? Thanks.

 

Headset issue.

I belive this is a kinect issue. I unplugged my Kinect and it stopped all my headset problems

 

2 Questions. Did you update the controller with the headset plugged in and what is listed for your NAT found under settings>network (middle column)?

 

Honestly I don't know how to update the controller. Didn't even know you could. As far as the nat goes it just says NAT type: Open

All services are available

 

I just checked my controller update too and it says there is nothing to update
