Headset Issue ( Xbox One )

So i first bought the xbox stereo headset but with an issue the headset played backwards, so when someone shot to my right it came from the left speaker, So i used the headset backwards until it broke thinking it was just the headset but recently bought
turtle beach XO4's and the same thing is happening, i've purchased a new controller and even a new adapter but still the same issue.

Xbox one headset issue.

Hello, my chat headset that came with my console is broken, when I plug it in, the mic works for about 30 seconds then goes out, I can hear people but they can't hear me. I have already tried to update the controller, tested the mic on multiple controller
and the issue still occurs, hard reset the console and checked my NAT. I was wondering what my options are to fix this issue.

Had you updated the controller with the adapter plugged in? If now you should do so. You'll have to head over to Settings and find the option to update them.

Yeah I've done the update with the adapter and headset plugged in.

Ok, try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. See if that fixes it.

I recommend to take a look at the following articles:

If the issue persists, try the Microsoft Headset Adapter to help make the 3rd party headset compatible with the Xbox One. Currently our team is working on a fix to help align 3rd party headsets.

Third party companies produce headsets for Xbox one if the headset is a third party product you would have to contact that company for warranty issues. Only if the headset is an actual xbox produced item would it be an xbox issue.
