Headset game sound

Discus and support Headset game sound in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Hi, I can't hear the game through my headset. I can hear party members and can chat with them just fine.     Headset game sound


    Hi, I can't hear the game through my headset. I can hear party members and can chat with them just fine. Game sound comes through my monitor speakers. My setup is xbox one s digital w/standard wireless controller. Headset is xbox one afterglow lvl
    1 headset, monitor is asus VG248QE. I've read other posts that say look here and here and you will see what to click, but I need a thorough walkthrough to fix this. Please and thanks

    So from the sounds of it the best bet is a headset that has the desired sound specs that likely plugs into the xbox but then broadcasts to the headset (game/system sound wireless) but chat sound/chat capabilities is direct from the controller (headset adapter)?

    If that is correct the A50s sound like the logical choice correct? Or is there another option?

    Television Audio Through Xbox One Headset

    If you are talking about the Chat headset, that comes with Xbox One, then No. If you are talking about Stereo Headset, with an Stereo Headset Adapter. then Yes. Using the Stereo Headset Adapter give to both Chat and Game sound to the headset. If you TV,
    is connected to the Xbox, your TV sound, will go to the headset.

And to be clear so that I can make sure I am understanding correctly, the behavior you're expecting is that when plugging in a mono headset it is for not just chat but to pass game and chat audio to the headset? or is the mono headset only meant to pass chat while the surround sound system continues to cast game and console audio and is switching the TV/Surround sound audio from its settings? Thus when unplugging the surround sound system works as intended but does not work as intended when a mono headset is plugged in.

    With the sony headset are you trying to pass all sound through the headset? or through the headset and the surround sound system?

    Is the chat sound turn up on your headset...usually TB headset allow you to control both game volume and chat volume...It sounds like you've turned up game and down chat.
