Hello everyone, I was wondering if someone can help me resolve an issue I have with my afterglow headset. Whenever I talk into my headset to a friend the headset repeats what I said through the headphones making it super difficult to have a conversation
with someone. It takes about 3 seconds before the sentence I say is repeated back to me through my headphones. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thank you.

First thing to check is in your audio settings if your party chat is set to go through Speakers and Headset. If so, pick one and test it out (if you're streaming, it'll have to go through Speakers). I had this issue (or at least it was similar) and it
was because the audio was going over two different channels I could hear.

If that's not the case, let us know and we can troubleshoot some more!

Check to see if your friends have their game sound and party coming out of their TV speakers.

Used to game with someone who had a very old chat headset and it always fed back everything in party as his chat also came through the TV. Very frustrating and we couldn't get him to understand the trouble it causes.

Have you check your headset volume and everything on settings

Hello Crouchey2,

Do you have that issue with an specific friend or with all people? It is possible that your friend is having voice reproduced from the speakers or that they have the headphones too loud and the microphone is picking the audio?

I've had that problem that you mention and having the volume too loud it echoes loudly through the headset.
