Headset dont working

Hi guys, first sorry for my english, i'm not american, so lets try ..

I saw here in the foruns many players with the same problem, but i dont see anyone to fix it.

I bought my xbox one in last week, in first days my headset works perfectly but now i CANT talk or listen anyone in my BF4...or in my GROUP of friends...

my headset works when he wants to, i can hear the beep when the volume ups and the orange led is working too...

New bluetooth headset problems

dont know buddy dont use bluebooth or wireless headsets, try going back into the shop where you got it from and the will give you a new one, and if the new one not working buy a new headset wired its the best to go buy if you want a bluetooth headset go
with the Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Headset Headset - Over-the-ear my mate has had one and his works all ok,

Headset not working - suggested upgrade?

Have been told to look here for the best suggested headset replacement? Dont know why...current day one headset, mic seems to be working and orange light mute/unmute, no beep on volume tho.........want a better replacement, dont see the point of replacing
rubbish with more rubbish.

I am currently part of the Xbox One Beta Preview group. My headset was working fine prior to this last update. I know it works, i can hear sounds like the mute button and the volume up and down buttons when it is plugged into my controller.. just not anyone
from my chat party. Instead, all chat party sounds come out of my TV as if only my Kinect was plugged in. I have checked all settings to ensure it is not cause by something else.

I believe this to be an update issue due to my friend who invited me to XB1 Beta Preview has the exact same issue only since that exact same update. Please rectify.

Step 1 ----Select Xbox One

Hi could it possibly be the audio port on the controller rather than the headset? I've had issues with a few controllers with the audio port. I also find it works much better with the official chat pad. The audio itself sounds so much better.

I'm assuming your controller has the 3.5mm plug socket in it. If it doesn't then it will need an adapter to connect the headset to your controller. The audio option does not show, if you are using an adapter though. Which turtle Beach headset have you
got?

Hey there Rachael,

Sorry to hear that you're afflicted with this problem.

If you have tried the previously posted troubleshooting steps already, then I would suggest trying what we call a soft reset.
It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey will be removed)
and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted reset and keep my games and apps.

Follow the steps here on
How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One and let us know how that helps.

If that doesn't affect the problem you're having, then I would contact
customer support as
Microsoft and Xbox have deemed this a known issue that they are in the process of working on internally at the moment.

They have however, isolated this as being a problem usually occurring when working with third party headsets.

Though, there is a workaround that has been working for some. I would say that you try maybe purchasing a
headset adapter to try and get around this problem, otherwise you might have to wait for Microsoft and Xbox to fix this problem in a future update.
