    Headset Doesn’t Work with Wireless Controller


    Hello, can someone tell me how to fix my headset not working with my wireless controller? Ive had the controller less than 3 months. My headset works completely fine with my two wired controllers. Ive tried using a USB cord plugged in with my wireless
    and it still doesnt work. My controller is UTD and assigned to my account. It just makes a click kinda sound when I plug it in but no sounds comes out. Ive tried power cycling and everything the internet says but nothing seems to work. The headset just only
    wants to work with a wired controller but theyre both messed up in some way and my wireless one is the one I use the most.

    If it doesn’t have a 3.5mm headphone Jack on a wired headset, any wireless one must say it’s for Dbox, whether it’s a dongle or connects directly. No USB headsets will work, only 3.5mm to the controller or approved wireless models.

    Xbox Wireless Headset, Party Chat Mixer Greyed Out. Left headset wheel doesn’t do anything.

    This isn’t to do with the controller, but regardless, I have three controllers and it’s the same with each. I don’t think you know the product. The product in question is the Microsoft Xbox Wireless Headset. It doesn’t need to plug into a controller. It’s a BT headset and connects directly to the Xbox.

    None of my headsets work for game chat anymore

    Here’s the strange thing none of my wired or wireless headsets work for game chat and I didn’t even change anything on my wireless headset and my software for my wireless headset is completely up to date so is my Xbox controllers as well so what else could it possibly be I’m out of possible ideas to try I’ve tried turning off and turning the console and controllers and headset off and back on again and still nothing party chats fine though and I’ve not really used my wireless headphones that much either and it doesn’t even work anymore either

    Why isn’t the Chatpad in the Xbox store?

    That doesn’t make any sense.

    While the Chatpad does have a headset jack, but it’s primary function was to add a wireless keyboard to the controllers.

    Thank you. Unfortunately Ive tried everything. The console doesn’t have any new updates and its a wireless headset so the controller wouldnt beed to be updated.
