Headset doesn't give ingame Sounds.

The 50x has In-line controls - Mic Mute and Master Volume controls , have you tried adjusting those? You might have the in game volume turned down without knowing it.

please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

if that doesn't fix the issue then please double check the audio settings on the console, the output may be set to a different type that you are using. Please see this link for some steps to try to solve the issue:

what headset, have you checked the settings on the Sound Options?

You can setup your mic volume and the ingame mixer, so you can choose to hear mroe gamesound or more of your teammates.

using an adapter or using the 3.5 jack in the controller?
