  1. Headset Disconnects all other accessories, cannot resync without a hard refresh

I have Razer Thresher wireless headset. When I turn off my headset it disconnects all other accessories. Even a wired controller won't connect. I then cannot resync any of the accessories such as my headset or controllers. I have to hold the power button on the xbox and start fresh, a simple turning off on doesn't work. Is this a xbox thing, headset thing. Worked fine until I received my Series X

    Update kill the 360.

Disconnect all of your accessories, and attempt to resync your controller.

Xbox 360 wireless controller has stopped working.

Hey mate, it's hard to say what could be the issue as electronics products can give up without any notice, I can only suggest if you have the charge cable to try and plug that in to see if it works with a direct power source, also try the troubleshooting
    steps here:

Other then that, it might be a new controller, unfortunately.

    I can’t update my 360 E

Hello Hayden, thanks for the additional information.

May I know if you have an internal hard drive on the console?

If that's correct, please try performing the update one more time, but in this case without the hard drive connected.

Additionally, if you have other USB accessories, disconnect everything except the flash drive.

    Unusual controller problem

    Hey there Nighworlder,

It's hard to say what might be going on with the controller since it's second hand. If you have the ability to exchange the controller you might want to consider that. You could try the following steps though to try and troubleshoot it.

    1. Make sure the controller's fully up to date with these steps.

    2. Try to disconnect the controller from the console and resync the controller with
    these steps.

Hope that helps! If not, you'll need to replace the controller most likely.
