Headset cuts out while in party chat

this just happened to me last week in a party mid chat while playing Destiny it just cut out

i can hear others but the headset wont pick up my chat ive tried everything new headset and controller made sure my network had open NAT open all ports even tried on my friends network and still nothing. this is where customer support chat directed me too

Thanks for the detailed post! To try to narrow this down, could you test this by wiring your Xbox One controller to your Xbox One console with a Micro USB cable? Testing with that will help us a bunch.

It's not a hardware issue, the actual party chat cuts out and then disconnects

no it is not on, i have a connect and its not set up, but idk if you guys understand, its intermittent, cuts out when talking and right now i was in a party again, i cant hear a sentance before the other user is cut out, i look on the screen and it says
that person isnt even talking, its more than just a headset or any other device that you talk with. Its not a port in my controller, its not both the headsets i use, it cant be the internet because im connected online, i get disconnected every now and again
but thats everyone, ive seen the thread. It isnt security settings because i wouldnt be able to hear that person to begin with, happens to EVERYONE that i talk to gamechat or party chat. But id say more in party chat than game chat. Game chat people can get
a few sentances out and party well i hear..... so whats go...............,....... and next week were................... you down?

I used to use headphones for in-game sound while late at night, but no longer do that. I use the headset while talking to friends either in party chat or game chat, but prefer party chat. While on my own I don't use my headset, but have it plugged in so
that the talking and other weird noises others make doesn't come through the speakers.
