Headset Crackling and cutting out on Xbox One S

Thank you for letting us know that the issue has been resolved on your side. This could be related to the service alert but as stated, users are experiencing disconnections from Party Chat on Xbox One. Don't want to say it's being caused directly by it but
like you said it is possible.

We will go ahead and lock the thread in the meantime as the issue seems to be resolved. If this issue does escalate and it continues to happen I would advise going through the troubleshooting provided by Javier.

We understand that you're experiencing an issue concerning a constant crackling or pop that is being heard within the headset.

Could you possibly run two network tests for us through your Xbox One console, both are located within the
network settings:

To get to the Network screen:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select Network.
5. Select Network settings.

Test network connection

If you can't connect to Xbox Live, you can begin troubleshooting by using this test. The
Test network connection test verifies that you're connected to your networking devices and that you can reach the Internet.

If you see any error message after you run this test, see the
Xbox One Network Connection Error Solution for troubleshooting help.

If you see the message “It's all good, your console is now connected to the Internet,” check the

Xbox Live Service Status to see if there's an issue with the service.

Test multiplayer connection

If you experience lag, random disconnects, or other game-related network issues, this test helps you identify the issue and works to resolve it.
Test multiplayer connection tests anything that might affect your experience while multiplayer gaming on Xbox Live, including IP address, download and upload speeds, packet loss, latency, and MTU (see the Detailed network statistics section
below for definitions).

If you see any error message after you run this test, see the

Hey javier thanks for the speedy response! It actually stopped somewhat after i reset my xbox like 10 minutes ago, although its still happening a tiny bit. But the social and gaming services are down and u hadnt even realized that so that could totally
be it! Ill wait until those are back up and ill see if thatll fix it, but for at least right now it isnt as bad so ill deal with it for a little. Thanks for the help!!

Thank you for reaching out to Xbox Forums. We understand that many users are attempting to broadcast their party chat audio via their Twitch broadcast.

We have this CHAT, AUDIO, BROADCAST ISSUES resolution: Kindly check if this would be applicable to your concern.

In order to broadcast party chat audio, you will need to enable this feature in the Guide when broadcasting via Twitch. Once enabled, each participant in the party will then have the option to opt-in to their audio being broadcast. The additional party members will need to be on an Xbox console or using party chat via Gamebar on PC. There is currently no option for users on the Xbox mobile app to allow their party chat audio to be broadcasted.



I have also included links to recent updates using the Twitch app on Xbox. Please take a look for further details



Xbox Broadcasting: With the latest Microsoft Xbox update, streamers will no longer need the Twitch App on Xbox to broadcast and can instead go live in less time by broadcasting directly from their Xbox console. This update started rolling out November 16th and will be available to all streamers by the end of 2022.



How to live stream on Xbox: To stream from a live streaming provider on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, download the app for the provider you want to use. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide and select Store > Apps. Find and select the app, and then select Install.
