    Headset connection - faulty?

    Hey,

I currently have an issue where the audio from my headset frequently drops / cuts out.

When using the headset I am plugging the 35mm jack directly into the Xbox One S controller.

In order to get the audio back, i'm having to plug/unplug the audio jack several times before the sound returns.

I originally thought that they headset was faulty (faulty wiring perhaps) so I bought a new one.

Unfortunately I still have the same issue.

My next thought was to purchase a headset adapter but I have read that these are only really required for the earlier Xbox controllers that don't have headset ports?

The only other conclusion that I can come to is that it may be the actual controller that is faulty?

Has anybody else experienced this issue or have any other suggestions?

Just thought I'd ask on here before spending more money!

    Cheers,

    :)

    Headset connection - faulty?

    Hi there,

It may be that the headphone jack on your controller is faulty. If this is the case, you can submit a repair for it here:

    http://devicesupport.microsoft.com/

If your console is still under warranty, you can submit a repair/replacement for your controller free of charge.

    I hope that helps.
