Headset Chat Mixer not working

UPDATE.

I figured it out.

Hard reset the xbox with the headset plugged in. The new controller has the chat mixer turned all the way to chat and not to game . Put the mixer back to the middle and it works. Without the hard restart, the option to adjust the chat mixer is gone.

The issues seems to persist. The headset works fine aside from the chat mixer not functioning

Still no chat mixer, I can hear chat but no game play? I still can't get into the headset chat mixer?

We are so sorry to hear that the resolution provided did not fix the issue to your chat mixer. If this was working before then might as well your device and system drivers need for updating its latest version. If you have updated it already, try to visit these two articles if the methods could help you resolve the issue.

If none of those work, you can try report this problem to our Xbox Support by submitting a bug through Xbox apps.

Submitting a bug through the Xbox App

1. Navigate to the top right of the application and select your Gamer pic icon
   
2. Select "Feedback" in the drop-down menu
   
3. Select "Report a problem."
   
4. Click "Give new feedback."
   
5. Add [Xbox Forum] in "Summarize your feedback," followed by a feedback summary
   
6. The category should automatically be selected.
   

Once complete, post the title of the bug report along with the submission date in this thread.
