Headset build quality

Since i purchased my xbox one i have had nothing but trouble with headsets. The lead which connects into the adapter part is so flimsy that it stopped working prob a slight movement by me stopped me from hearing my friends but they could hear me. Bought
myself a new set and within a week or two same prob. Then the adapters were released, finally i could us my turtle beach xp500 horray no more *** headsets.Had to buy a a talk back cable as well as the adapter. Within 3 or so weeks my friends started complaing
about static and i found moving the chat cable at times worked.I decided to spend another £10 on another chat cable only to find the problem again was the lead into the adapter this time in the form of a 3.5mm male-2.5mm female adapter which allows my turtle
beach chat cable to plug in. This lead apparently is only sold with the official microsoft chat adapter £20. So i looked around amazon and found a solid jack but i guess microsoft have made sure nowt else will work and so instead of paying £2 i had to spend
another £20 just to get the 3.5-2.5 jack which is the same thickness as the lead into the standed headset adapter. So at the end of all that i am just waiting for this to break now :>( Sorry about the long post.

you know you can buy the wired headset ? too bad they want you pay for the premium quality build wired headsets hopefully it will be 20$

 

Anyone use headphones when gaming?

Almost everyone here owns the same brand of headset. Are you guys buying it because of the brand name or the build quality of the headset?

 

TB announced at e3 they are making a fully wireless headset for Xbox one have only seen it at amazon US Turtle Beach Earforce Stealth 500X
