  1. headset audio setting bugged

    Hello,

about an hour ago the headset audio output setting for party chat on my Xbox seems to not be working for my turtle beach elite 800x. when I start a game, the audio output will work for a couple of minutes until suddenly I won't hear anyone in the party.
the only way to "fix" this is to switch it to the speaker audio output choice. However, this leads me to have my turtle beach elite 800x to bug out and not only make the party chat quieter and have less quality, but also raise both game volume and party chat
    volume with only one dial.

this is a very new issue I am having, and don't see others having the same thing. I've tried replugging the headset, hard resetting the headset, and repairing the headset. I'm going to try power-cycling the Xbox as well to see if that works, but I'm not
    sure what else to do.

    :)

Xbox One stuck on headset audio

Soft Reset did not work, still on headset audio.

It's definitely in the software, perhaps a preview bug.

what should i do about the controller?

Does the headset work on another controller? Do you have your audio settings set up for audio to come through the headset?

No Audio with headphones and Series X.

Headset Audio is set to "Headset Format Stereo uncompressed"

Turtle beach stealth 500x - works in party chat, but not game chat in COD

    I hope you are well.

    Please check this step

The problem may be with your game or headset settings. Make sure your game audio is set to headset audio output in the Call of Duty settings menu. If the problem persists, try restarting your headset and console.

    audio button

    Hi Deathstroke,

The audio button does not show up for all headsets. Mainly the ones it will not show up for are third party headsets. For example, I have two different ear buds I use. One shows up with audio, the other does not and they both work in my controller. If you
are unable to hear any sound, go to the Xbox settings under display and sound select audio output headset audio set to stereo uncompressed, along with HDMI and Optical audio. Under Volume make sure the party chat is set to headset. Other than this there is
no other options except updating controller with headset plugged in. Here is guide for

    troubleshooting headsets
    .

    Thanks,

    Brad
