Headset audio output

Discus and support Headset audio output in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I bought a turtle beach xla headset today and am using hdmi for my 360.     Headset audio output


    I bought a turtle beach xla headset today and am using hdmi for my 360. I connected the headset into the audio output red and white jacks on the back of my tv and it works fine when the regular televaion ion is on but as soon as o swtich over to HDMI pn
    my grundig tv the sound just *** off. I can still hear the static feedback from the headset but no actual sound is coming from the xbox audio. Any ideas?

    From the PS4 FAQ:

    Will the DUALSHOCK 4 controller’s 3.5mm headset jack support other headsets or headphones?

    The PS Vita system’s headset is fully supported. Some other third-party headsets may support basic audio and chat functionality on PS4, but Sony Computer Entertainment cannot guarantee it.

    Is it possible to output all game audio through DUALSHOCK 4 controller’s 3.5mm headset jack?

    Yes, you can select the Output to Headsets option to either ‘Chat Audio’ or “All Audio.”

    Hey SeanTheKing87,

    If your Xbox 360 and TV are connected via HDMI, the headset's RCA splitter cable (included) will need to be connected to 'AUDIO OUT' jacks on the back of your TV.

    Not all TV's have AUDIO OUT jacks. You may check the specifications of your TV online or in the manual to determine if it has stereo AUDIO OUT. Alternatively, you may connect the headset directly to a headphone jack on your TV if it has one.

    If your TV does not have AUDIO OUT jacks or a headphone jack, you will need the Ear Force Xbox 360 Audio Adapter Cable.

    The tv has audio output and the headset is connects. the audio comes through the headset just fine when it is on a regular television channel, as soon as I switch to HDMI the audio stops though, despite the fact that nothing has changed between the headset-tv
    connection. It's as if when I switch the television to HDMI, the output jacks just cease to function

    It seems a problem with audio output. Check the audio settings, go to: "Settings"->"Volume"->"Party Chat Output" and select "Headset".

    Hello Thrasher585, usually this type of configuration is in the options: Settings»Audio output and Volume»Auto-speaking audio, if it is marked in gray is because the headset is connected, disconnect the hedset and the HDMI audio output put in Headset Format and in the Headset Audio setting put Windows Sonic if you do not use Dolby Atmos etc.

    go to the general volume and audio output settings.

    make sure all audio output is set to headset. under headset audio Dolby Atmos and using HDMI or optical audio are both checked.

    I have hte same headset you do and they are up to date on firmware; firmware can only be updated on PC. Connected the same way yours are; optical connection to console, USB plugged into console.
