    Headset audio cuts out


    I have been troubleshooting this problem for 2 hours now and nothing has worked. My headset audio and the ability to talk cuts out extremely often(every 2-5 minutes) for a random amount of time. Ive completely wiped my xbox, updated all my controllers
    and even tried to switch xboxs. I already threw away my previous headset(which i originally thought was the problem). I now have a brand new Astros A-10 headset and the same problem persists. Please help me solve this so i dont have to switch to ps4 or save
    an ungodly amount of money for a pc. Believe me, ive tried EVERYTHING

    Hey there Canadian thanks for taking the time to bring this issue to us.

    We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused but rest assured we are here to help, we have seen this in the past
    and since the issue could be on the actual OS of the console so we would suggest a >Soft
    Factory Reset    <
    (while keeping games and apps and hardwire the controller and headset)
    IF AND ONLY IF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA IS MET:

    • There is a stable network connection.
    • The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)

    Once the setup is complete it will ask if we want to keep settings or manual setup
    lets do manual setup. Give it a shot and let us know of any changes!

    I have the audio out on my tv. But was wondering if you could just use the kinect to communicate instead of attaching the other headset. Is it easy to communicate with teammates? Can you hear them in your x11 without it cutting the game audio cutting

    I am having the same problem, I have the Astro A50 headset, the audio cuts in and out constantly, the Astros have a base station for charging the headset connected via the USB for power and the optical cable for sound. I notice when the sound cuts out the
    lights on my base station go out as if it has lost connection intermediately. When I move the base station for the headset and my router away from my xbox by about a foot or two, the audio stops cutting in and out and works perfectly. Must be some interference
    wifi maybe?
