    Headset and earbud problems


    I got on my Xbox and all of a sudden when I plug in my headset, I can't hear anything. My headset is on, but there is still no sound. I plug in my spare earbuds but that doesn't work either. We recently had an HDMI problem where I now have to plug the HDMI
    from the tv to the Xbox itself instead of using the Hdmi the Xbox provides you. There is no microphone detection when I go to party. How can I fix this

    My main headset is a turtle beach recon 50x stereo headset, I also have some Samsung earbuds and another offbrand set of earbuds. The TB headset and Samsung earbuds both used to work fine, but the new offbrand earbuds were purchased after the issue began
    and have not worked. I also have tested all 3 on a PC with no issues, but do not have another Xbox to test them on.

    Hey there XxUltraSteelxX.

    Eve multiple headphones aren't working it's possible it's an issue with the controller. Do you have a spare Xbox One controller you can test to see if there's any change?

    My friends can hear my audio through my headset

    I have an xbox headset and samsung earbuds. I thought it was the headset but no because I've tried on 3 different controllers and the same problem occurs.

    you can use any headset/earbuds on the market except for apple earbuds

    Let's have you take those headsets to a friend's house or local game store for testing in this case.
