Headset adaptor turtlebeach x41

Hi I'm new here so sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I have your turtlebeach x41 on the xbox one. I have had these for some time, and think they are a brilliant headset the sound is great!! But since the new headset adaptor came out for the xbox one I have found that the headset is not functioning right,
the surround sound is not working. When I am playing cod if someone is shooting on my left the sound isn't just coming out the left ear pad like it used to? It's coming out of both!! I have have contacted xbox regarding this as it's been since the headset
adaptor came out, but they have told me that I am to contact turtlebeach.

I may also add that my x41 headset is connected from the receiver to the xbox using your optical cable.
I hope you can help as I want the full functioning of this epic headset back

buy the turtlebeach X41 they may be old but are very good the surround sound update will be here soon so all you will need is a audio adaptor

as the other guy said there new headsets are stereo nothing but over priced stereo headsets the cheap microsoft one will do the same job
