    Headset Adapter


    This just started this past weekend. While I'm playing the sound will start to breakup and then cut in and out. Each time it cuts out my remote will drop offline than come back on. It gets to a point where the sounds cuts out compleatly and the remote works
    fine. I have to do a hard restart to get it to come back for a little while than it does the same thing. I have tried different remotes with the same affect. If I use the supplied headset there are no problems. Is this something anyone else has seen? I was
    going to buy a new adapter (to see if that takes care of the problem) yesterday but the store was out.

    Its only the adapter that updates the headset is plugged in just so the adapter is powered up as I said see if your stereo headset woks with the TB Adapter if it doesn't then you will have to use the Microsoft adapter for the stereo headset.

    Has anyone returned their headset or headset adapter to see if a new headset adapter fixed this issue?

    I am beginning to think that it might be a problem with the headset adapter and not the firmware update.

    This doesn't seem to be an epidemic but more of an isolated problem for certain customers.
