Headset Adapter stopped working

Hello everybody,

I have used my stereo headset adapter for a month, but today It has decided to stop working. No sound is heard in earbuds and no voice is recorded by mic. Moreover, when I press MIC silence button, there is no orange light. Is this a problem with the adapter?
Of course, controller and console are up to date and earbuds works in other systems.

Xbox one chat adapter problem

I have had a similar problem my headset adapter stopped working all together. I've tried everything.

Headset trouble

i think that the xbox one adapter ruined my 2 headsets as when i was using your the adapter with them they have slowly stopped working, first mic stopped, then they started to only work through one ear and now completely stopped working and will not work
with other devices eg phone or computer

It could be a cache issue. Can you please try holding the power button on the console until it shuts down and see if that helps?

Thanks but It has no effect. I have tried original headset and it works, so the problem seems to be in the adapter. I'll ask Amazon for a new one.

My port on the controller stopped working,try a headset adapter that should work.

Yes of course I did I force the update in all of them talked with Xbox there solution was the to a factory reset.

I am having this problem as well. it appears the stereo headphone adapter is failing bc the headphones themselves still work and all firmware is updated.

Do anyone have an answer here?
