  1. Headset adapter issues

So my headset adapter I bought 2 months ago isnt working anymore or I think. I can hear the game and people talking through them but the mic doesn't work and it used too. I have updated the controller, did a hard reset, switched the usb ports, and none
of that worked at alllllllllllllll. If anyone who had this issue, and fixed it please tell me how.

    :)

Xbox One Adapter game and chat volume the same?

its all in the details my head setted friends..

microsoft is aware of the adapter issue.. some people are having issues mostly with in game chatt but non on skype, and such...

quite a few posts on the asto headset forums about it. along with turtle beach and such. astro says they found a firmware fix that should go live next week. it will only be applied to the a50 and pro2013 edition.

"The new consoles work a little differently, and in particular have different levels set for mic input that requires some fine tuning of our products to make them work perfectly."
Turtle Beach — makers of the new XO Seven, XO Four, and EarForce Atlas headsets for the Xbox One — has received feedback from reviewers and consumers regarding similar problems and is working with Microsoft as it seeks to address the issues.

microsoft is also aware of the adapter issues across the board and is working on it as well. this was the same issues with ps4 with headset integration.

  3. Xbox One S and Official Stereo Headset Adapter not recognized

    Hi Zathrus,

    We have two of the
    Xbox Stereo Headset
with Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter, and both sets have worked well with no problems for sometime now. And I have used the
adapter with non-Microsoft headset with no issues. So, given that you say your "3.5 mm cabled headset " works directly connected to the controller, then I regret to say it would seem that the fault lies with the adapter itself and may need to be replace.

    Headset adapter issues

Did you do the controller update with the adapter attached through the Settings menu? If not, do that.

You could also double check that the headset is not muted.
