    Headset adapter help


    Recently I have been using the Headset Adapter to talk with my turtle beaches x32 until yesterday it stopped working. Nothing is broken either. Also, when i try to press the mute mic button on the adapter it does not light up anymore. I have tried restarting
    my xbox, changing batteries, unplugging cords/plugging back in (cords to the headset), and unplugged the xbox all to no prevail. If anyone knows how to fix this please help.

    MS Headset adapter help

    I was on the same boat, and so have some other people when I did research.

    I got the headset adapter when it first released, and it didn't simply slide in my standard controller. Tried all night. It wouldn't fit. After messing around with it for a bit, it turns out I had to slide it in from a certain angle.

    The best advice I can give is to mess around with it. It should go in, but it seems like those things weren't carefully manufactured correctly when it comes to alignment.

    MS Headset adapter help

    Just bought the new cod aw controller. My headset adapter won't fit in the controller. It fits in all my other controllers, I'm at a loss for what to do. Anyone have any ideas or tips?

    It said that there was no updates needed. Also, I have changed the batteries (did not fix it) and tried the headset on my xbox 360 and it did work with that.

    Headset issues

    Hello AJB,

    Thanks for keeping us updated. The headset adapter would not enable a wireless connection. The headset adapter is used to bypass the 3.5 mm jack on your controller that may be damaged, causing the microphone issues. Here is an article going over the headset

    Windows 10 use requires Bluetooth 4.2+, Xbox Wireless adapter or compatible USB-C cable. Each sold separately, explaining why both the adapter and cable weren't included with the headset.
