Headset/adapter causing Xbox One controller to disconnect.

I have the Astro A50 headset and when I use them when my controller is wireless the controller will start disconnecting after 10-15 minutes. Controller's play n charge kit battery is charged and it doesn't happen when I connect the charge cable to
    the controller and play wired.

Controller and headset are running the latest firmware. I am also part of the Xbox Live Preview program, if that makes a difference.

This did not happen with my Turtle Beach Stealth headset which was completely wireless and did not use the adapter.

    :)

Xbox one will not power with updated controller with MS Stereo headset plugged in

Xbox one will not power with updated controller with MS Stereo headset plugged in. Once I disconnect MS Stereo headset and adapter it powers on syncs just fine. Then I plug in the headset and adapter everything works. But if i power off controller or xbox
one it won't sync with the headset and adapter plugged in. Ive updated controller. It works fine with old chat headset. It works fine plugged in usb.

    Hi BT843,

Looking through these threads and threads at atstrogaming.com there are some other people with this same issue. If you've updated firmware, and applied the latest Xbox Updates (which it sounds like you have), I would contact the manufacturer of the headset
to see if they have any other solutions for this. If you noticed this happening after a recent update head over to the preview forums and post there. Additionally use the preview dashboard to report the problems you're having with the controller disconnecting
    while using your headset.

I've also noticed "popping" sounds followed by a brief controller disconnects several times now. It only seems to happen when I want to chat and connect the AG1 cable. I don't ever experience the popping or controller disconnects when the headset isn't connected
to the controller for chat. My batteries are charged, I've resynced the headset, the firmware is up to date, and I've tried multiple controllers. I was planning to exchange the headset for another but I'm not quite sure that'll help after I've read so many
complaints regarding these issues. The A50 is great when it works properly, but I can't say I'm not a little disappointed, especially considering how much they cost.

New headset with adaptor mic not working

If your Xbox one Controller doesn't work or gets disconnected after you plug in your Stereo Headset Adapter, unplug your adapter,
and then update your controller without the adapter. After the controller is updated, insert your Stereo Headset Adapter back into the controller.
