Headset Adapter and Beats Studio Headset

I had a black cord that came with my beats that work on my xbox one perfectly but the cord broke. So i tried the red one and no longer can i chat. I bought a new one from beats and that one doesn't work. Since monster made the old beats you can no longer
get that blackcord they no longer carry it and they changed it because now they make u buy a different one for the iPhone and android. SO the blackjack that works you can no longer get.

I just ordered a

-Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter

-FC23 Replacement (Black) iSoniTalk Cable Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Studio Solo HD

so I can use my SOLO HD Beats as a headset. I've read a lot about them and it seems to work if you replace the beats audio wire with the FC23 wire and plug it into the Adapter. I am going to try it out and I will reply once I find out for sure.

All you need is a $5 omtp to ctia adapter on ebay. I have the beats studios and the mic was not working bought this adapter and inline mic now works with the xbox one adapter!

How did you manage do use Kinect as mic while your headphones are connected to the controller? As soon as I plug in my headphones into the Stereo Headset Adapter my Kinect won't work as mic anymore... Strange thing is, this also happens if my headphones
don't have an integrated mic

Ok.. I finally got that mic today and I can confirm that this mic does work with both the Beats studio and the Xbox one adapter!!!! I am so excited! Granted it cost me an extra $30, but my Beats even sound better! Hope this helps someone. Again, Got the
mic here: v-moda.com/boompro-microphone. This is the first product I have ever purchased from v-moda, I had never even heard of them before this fiasco, but the mic works flawlessly.

Your cable is OMTP not CTIA so its not compatible.

@su2root I have two cords that came with my studio beats. The black one works perfectly with the mic. The red one didn't work. Hope this helps.

Klipsch Mde M40 headphones do not get microphone support either.
