Headphones Volume

Discus and support Headphones Volume in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Is there a way to set the volume when headphones are being used?     Headphones Volume


    Is there a way to set the volume when headphones are being used? I know xbox recognizes them because of the little headphones icon next to the battery indicator and time on the home screen.

    I realize I can adjust the volume in the settings for each game individually but that doesn't adjust the volume coming out of the Xbox -everyone else is asleep, so I can't utilize my surround sound, but about a half hour ago I completed a daily, weekly, and monthly quest in rapid succession. My ears are still ringing from the notifications that blasted my eardrums. I'm surprised they're not bleeding. My windows tablet automatically turns down the volume when headphones are used, and warns me if I try to turn the volume up. Why can't the great and powerful X do the same?

    Can't find volume control???

    are we using headphones? maybe try changing the volume for the your tv. If we are using headphone then you have a volume control on your chat adapter or on the headset its self to control the volume for the headphones.

    XBOX One S Controller 3.5mm Jack.

    Once the headphones are connected, double-tap the guide button on the controller, and navigate to the bottom for headset settings.

    You should find an adjustable headset volume setting. That will be the game volume in your headphones.

    Please note that audio will still play from the TV even while headphones are connected to the controller. You can just mute your TV volume while using the headphones.

    To use my headphones I have to mute the tv in order to just hear volume from headphones.

    Brand new headphones work everywhere except on Xbox One controllers

    When you go over to the sound tab are there settings to adjust the volume? it may not be the headphones it could be the jack for the headphones.

    Should Xbox add a voice control for Parties ?

    It may be useful but you can get headphones that are able to control party chat volume separate from game volume.
