    Headphones not working


    I just bought these wireless pdp gaming headphones but they won’t connect to the Xbox I’ve plugged in the usb thing and I hear that the headphones connect to it but they don’t get recognized by the Xbox and I have had the same problem with the stealth 700 headphones and I want to know if I need to get a new Xbox or not because I have the 1st gen of the Xbox one

    Hello! Did you try to restart the console? Have you tried another phone? Do you use an adapter for the phone in the control or connect directly to the output?

    Sorry to hear it. Please try unplugging the headphones then replug them in to see if that helps. If it does not then try a power cycle on the console by holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds till it shuts down.

    Did the same thing happen when you unplugged your headphones and tried using the TV as audio output?

    Sometimes game music and sounds mute themselves will you are playing games, I suggest restarting your xbox and doing a power cycle if that doesn't work, by holding down the xbox power button on your console for 10 seconds, before releasing and pressing the
    power button again.
