    Last week i briught a new controller, but today my mic has stopped picking up sound so i cant speak. first i thought it was an issue with my headset but then i plugged it into my old controller (which has really bad stickdrift hence the new controller) and
    my mic was working perfectly does anyone know what the problem could be or any way to help as i am annoyed that a controller could get broken this quickly with no hits or anything to it.

    headset mic not recognised in games

    My control does not recognize my headphone. It worked some weeks but after some time sttoped. The headphone is new and works fine in other devices. The headphone iccon does not appear in the screen.

    at the moment i dont have another headset as this one is completely fine and i spent alot of money on it but if it works with other headsets it shouldn't be the mic thats broken

    Have you tried testing anything else in the new controller? Another mic/headset, for example.
