    Headphones / mic has stopped working on xbox & gone through all the online help but still cant clear this, headset / mic works on other devices & have tried other headsets in both controllers but they dont work either! Driving me mad....

    Netflix audio with new controller.

    It's dependant on the headphones you have. It currently works with the larger official xbox one headphones in have.

    Thank you but tried all that! Rang microsoft and because they arent official xbox headphones they wont do anything about the controller. As it works fine just the headphone connection not working!

    First, check that the microphone is activated in your audio configuration, second verify that the 3.5 jack of the control is not clogged with something, third if possible test in another contol and finally verify that your control has the latest updates,
    In case none of this solves try another device that has a microphone if the problem still does not work is the control
