Headphones is when it not used how to turn off

If these are wired headphones, consider unplugging them from the controller. If these are wireless headphones, try turning them off when you want to use the surround sound system.

If it were a built-in headphone jack, then it would turn off when the controller itself was turned off, right? It connects when I plug in my headset.

It happens to me when I turn on the headphones with the console turned off, and it turns on due to the headphones, then as soon as I turn on the console it turns off. If I turn them on when the console is already on I have no problems.

Microsoft support told me they had not reported this problem and to replace them.
