  1. Headphones disconnect when going to remote play.

When using Xbox one and Xbox companion app on IPhone. I join a party in the app and can talk through my headphones. As soon as I remote play a game on the app, my headphones disconnect from my phone. Leaving the app to recconnect my headphones immediately quits the remote play. What is the fix?

    :)

Headphones disconnect when going to remote play.

Hello Timothy B, thank you reaching out to us. I would be more than happy to assist you with your issue.

    Please follow these troubleshooting steps:

    1.Check Audio Settings:
-On your iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and ensure your headphones are connected and selected as the "Output Device."
-Within the Xbox Companion App, open Settings > Remote Play > Audio and select "Headset" as the audio output.

2.Turn off other Bluetooth devices in your vicinity that might be causing interference.

3.Try moving your phone and headphones closer to each other.

4.Close any unnecessary apps running in the background on your iPhone to free up resources and potentially prevent conflicts.

5.Update the Xbox Companion App and the Xbox app on your Xbox One to the latest versions.

6.Force quit the Xbox Companion App and Xbox app on your devices and restart them.

7.Try performing a factory reset (keep my games and apps) on both your iPhone and Xbox One to clear temporary glitches.

here are the steps to do so:
1.Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2.Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
    3.Select Reset console.
On the Reset your console screen, you'll see three options:
    Reset and remove everything.
Reset and keep my games & apps.
    Cancel.
4.select the (Reset and keep my games & apps) option.
please note that this option will keep your games and apps, however, all system settings will be reset to their default values and you will need to sign in with your Microsoft account.

if all the above steps didn't work you may consider using a wired headset connected directly to your Xbox One controller for more stable audio during Remote Play.

Feel free to get in touch if there's anything else we can assist you with.
    Have a good day,
    Adam.

PC to XSX Remote Play - console turns on, only see a black screen, disconnects 1 min later

    I'm having the same issue.

but I figured something about this.

When TV that connected to XBOX is turned on. remote play works.

but when TV is turned off. remote play is not working.

if I turn on my TV first, then remote play from my PC . it works perfectly.

then if I turn off my TV. suddenly Remote play become very unstable and stuttering.

and it disconnected automatically in a minute.

I tested wireless and wired , both behaves same.

and most importantly , this issue not reproducing iPhone and android phone remote play.

mobile phone remote play works perfectly no matter TV is turned on or not.
