  2. Xbox Voice Settings

I am now using headphones to hear people and the game sound. I have my voice output set to play through both, voice volume at 10 and game volume at 1. My goal is to be able to hear the voice and game clearly. When in party chat, when someone speaks, the
game volume lowers. Great, but in game chat, when someone speaks, the game volume does not lower, why is this and what can I do about it? Thanks.

    Party chat audio issue!

You have to change your default playback device to your headphone speakers rather than your PC's speakers. You can change this by right-clicking the speaker icon in your system tray and clicking playback devices. However, I think the game volume will also
come through your headset if that's a problem.

You can change the volume by

    1.Pressing the Home Button.

2.Then going over to the Settings tab.

    3.Select preferences click on Voice.

4.Turn your game volume down or up from there.

if this does not work readjusting the wires and testing for that may be the problem.

    Hope these work for you.

why does my blackshark v2 x mic pick up game characters voices and plays it again in discord or gamechat and it only picks up voices nothing else

Hello Mattus,my name is Oskayra, I will be happy to help you in any way possible.

I'm so sorry for what you're going through, there are two main reasons why your Blackshark v2 x microphone may be picking up the voices of game characters and playing them on Discord or Gamechat:

The microphone is picking up sound from your computer's speakers. This is known as audio feedback and can occur if the microphone is too close to the speakers or if the speaker volume is too high.

The microphone is picking up sound from the headphones you are using. This is known as headphone feedback and can occur if the headphones are too close to the microphone or if the headphone volume is too high.

You can verify that these are not the case by changing the volume or resetting it in the settings.

I hope the information is helpful to you, if not, let me know that I will be happy to continue helping you, good luck and happy day.

    Sincerely,
    Oskaira.

Low Volume output on XBOX 360 (both old and brand new Slim)

No. It has nothing to do with headphones. The volume is low to external speakers, heaphones, TVs, etc. It doesn't matter what device it is connected to. I have used the standard definition cables, the component connection cables, HDMI cable, and the
cable with the PC connection. I have had it hooked up to Logitech Z623 speakers, Logitech Z906 speakers, some cheap brand of PC speakers, a Samsung 40" TV, a Sanyo 46" TV, a PC monitor with speakers, skullcandy heaphones, turtle Beach X2s, turtle Beach X32s.
The sound is low to all devices no matter how they are connected. It is this way on both of my XBOX 360s, both the original white console and a brand new slim. The logitech speakers have volume control on them and I have to crank it up to get a normal playing
volume whereas for TV and other consoles, I have it much lower. On the TVs, there is volume control which also must be greatly hightened to hear the XBOX games through. In game sound is all the way up. The TV is on (i double checked, I swear!!!!!). For
normal TV viewing and other consoles, I keep the audio at about a 12 for example on my Samsung TV. I have to have it around 35 to play XBOX. That's not the way it should be. If I hook up standard headphones to it with no volume control, it is very quiet
and no good for playing games.

I cannot hear Game audio, only voice chat and other people, I’ve looked through every setting but I could be wrong, is there an easy fix to this.

Thank you for contact us! I'm Anderson, an Independent Consultant and a Microsoft user like you.

    good morning

There are several potential causes for this issue, but here are a few easy things to try that may help resolve the problem:

Check your in-game audio settings: Make sure that the game's audio settings are set to output sound through your speakers or headphones, and that the volume is turned up. Also, check for any mute or solo settings that might be enabled.

Check your device's audio settings: Ensure that your device's audio settings are configured to output sound through the correct speakers or headphones, and that the volume is turned up. Also, make sure that the game is not muted or set to a low volume level in your device's volume mixer.

Check your voice chat settings: Some games have separate audio settings for voice chat and game audio. Make sure that the voice chat settings are not overriding the game audio settings.

Restart your game and device: Sometimes simply restarting your game or device can fix audio issues.

Check your cables and connections: If you are using external speakers or headphones, make sure that they are properly connected to your device and that the cables are not damaged.
