    headphone jack on xbox controller not working


    This as happened 3 different times with 3 controllers and before anybody asks i did try on other devices and it worked fine when it happened with the first controller i just thought bad luck but the other 2 times i was thinking somethings wrong with microsofts
    controllers. I dont think im doing anything wrong to make the controllers to this.

    Hello, the headphones has both USB and jack port, I used to jack with my controller, no adapter is needed.

    If your headphones have a 3.5 mm jack and your controller supports it then simply plug the headphones into the hole in the front of the controller. If the controller does not have the jack then you'll need to purchase a headphone adapter for the controller.

    If the head phones work on your phone it can be the controller Jack might be broken. Try using earphones with the controller to see if it works if it's the same issue then your controller headphone jack isn't work . Hope this helps

    I had this same problem. It turned out to be a bad headphone jack on the controller. After replacing the jack it works fine.
