    Headphone Jack Is Lose

Ive been having this same issue. Ive replaced the controller 5 times this month. The audio jack feels loose and stops talking after like 5 days. I can still hear the chat. Ive had to plug earphones into my phone and talk through a party on the xbox app.

    Please fix this

the headphone jack is not actually soldered to the board it is sat between 2 circuit boards and the pressure of those is what keeps the pins connected, i have had to repair my kids controllers countless times due to them moving out of alignment slightly and then either losing audio or mic functionality.

I basically gave up and purchased some stereo adapters that plug into the bottom of the controller, they are better as you get direct volume/mixer and mute control access.

My grandson has an Xbox connected to a monitor. No tv. How can I connect a soundboard to that setup without a tv?

if the monitor has a headphone jack you can hook that up to a soundbar or speakers with a 3.5mm connector, if not then you would need to get a soundbar with hdmi connection with passthrough. or you could connect the soundbar to the controllers headphone jack but you would lose the ability to use mic.

there are also hdmi splitters that split off the audio to a headphone jack or optical.

    Controller doesn’t recognise my Headset

Check if theses any lint or dust in the headphone jack, my headset was like that too but it was just lint that was in my headphone jack

    Headphones

If your headphones have a 3.5 mm jack and your controller supports it then simply plug the headphones into the hole in the front of the controller. If the controller does not have the jack then you'll need to purchase a headphone adapter for the controller.
